On my travels I’ve found that Getyourguide.com has one the largest databases of experiences, in pretty much every country you might visit, it’s my goto resource, give them a try. If the Get Your Guide list isn’t showing below, please try and refresh the page (swipe down on a mobile). Disclosure: I get a really really small, commission on any bookings made through this page, thank you, but you pay exactly the same as you will if you book directly with GetYourGuide.
If you find a site or app like GetYourGuide a little too impersonal for your needs, no problem, below are some of the travel websites and guides that I have either used myself or that come recommended. I’ll keep this list updated regularly, and as always, your suggestions are welcomed.
African Welcome Safaris specialises in tailor-making African Safaris and holidays, their expertise includes South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya and Tanzania. I know the owners personally and can really recommend giving Kathi or Alex a call or drop them an email.
The Belize Tourism Board website is filled with useful information about the country, with pretty much everything you need to know. Got to say here that I’ve not yet been to Belize, it’s on my bucket list for “soon”, but it’s a website that I’ve bookmarked and keep on referring back to in the course of my research.
I have to mention up-front that I haven’t used the Mauritius Attractions website, I only came across it recently, but it seems to have loads of useful information. They claim to be the leading attractions, tours and excursions provider in Mauritius, and they do appear to be offering quite an extensive range of attractions.
If you come across a website, or even an app that you think would fit in this list please do drop me an email or message from the contact page, I’m always looking for useful resources for my readers.
